The Templeton River is a river in the west of the Australian state of Queensland . It does not have water all year round.

River course

The river rises about 15 km west of Mount Isa . It flows first to the northwest, from the settlement Hay Mill to the west and from the Lily Plain Bore to the southwest. North of Headingly the Templeton River flows into the Georgina River .
