Tenhō Foods
KK Tenhō Foods ( Japanese 株式会社 テ ン ホ ウ ・ フ ー ズ Kabushiki-gaisha Tenhō Fūzu ) is a restaurant chain with a focus on ramen - and gyōza , which is located exclusively in Nagano prefecture .
The number of branches is currently (as of 2018) 32 shops, which are distributed over the entire prefecture. Of these, 29 branches carry out direct sales and three branches are franchise companies.
The company was founded in 1956. Sōtarō Ōishi ( 大石 壯 太郎 ) holds the position of chairman of the board and company boss . The head office is in Suwa .
Naming
The name is derived from the term ten no hō ( 天 の 宝 ), which means "treasure of heaven".
Types of dishes
Pasta dishes, especially ramen in different variations, form the core menu. The customer can also choose from a small selection of donburi and set menus ( 定 食 teishoku ). There are also gyoza and other snacks for the small appetite on the menu. Seasonally adapted pasta dishes are also available for a limited period of time. While there is a standard offer in all branches, certain dishes are only served in special shops.
