The Tennemann Verlag or Tennemann media is a German publisher that represents authors, artists and musicians from northern Germany in book, audio book and music productions.
history
The publishing house was founded in 1999 by the journalist Leif Tennemann . It is based in Schwerin . Originally focused on authors from Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , the publishing house now produces authors and artists from all over northern Germany. His focus is on book and audio book productions on regional contemporary history, publications in Low German , children's literature, fiction and crime literature. In the field of music production, the publishing house dedicates itself to a broad spectrum from folk to classical, taking into account the regional orientation. The publisher received the Martha Müller-Grählert Prize in 2009 .

The saxophonist Andreas Pasternack from the Pasternack Big Band , who was awarded the 2007 Culture Prize of the Hanseatic City of Rostock , is releasing his CD Like the First Time under the Tennemann media label .
