List of radio stations

NDR 1 Radio MV is the regional program for Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania of the North German Broadcasting Corporation (NDR). It is mainly produced in the Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania regional radio station in Schwerin .

Regional studios are the Vorpommernstudio Greifswald, the Haff-Müritz-Studio Neubrandenburg, the Ostseestudio Rostock and the Mecklenburg-Studio Schwerin (in the Landesfunkhaus).

history

In 1990, after the fall of the Berlin Wall, the then radio station of the GDR stopped the program Radio DDR II in favor of regional programs in the newly established countries. For the three northern districts of the GDR, which later formed the state of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania , this was Radio MV . On December 31, 1991, the GDR broadcasting was discontinued. Considerations to form a Northeast German Broadcasting Corporation with the federal states of Saxony , Saxony-Anhalt , Brandenburg and Berlin failed. Finally, the NDR took over the radio station Radio MV and continued to operate it under the name NDR 1 Radio MV. Analogous to the other three national waves of the station, the program is produced between 5:00 and 22:10 (on weekends from 6:05 to 22:00) in the Schwerin regional broadcasting house, then the ARD hit night is taken over.

"The Schweriner Plappermoehl" begins broadcasting on January 24, 1983 by the Schwerin station ( radio of the GDR / regional programs ) and, under the name of " De Plappermoehl ", has survived the turning point and the radical modernization phase of recent years. It is broadcast regularly on a monthly basis. On November 25, 2017 (Saturday - 7: 05–8: 00 pm) the 400th edition of “De Plappermoehl” was broadcast, including a new opening song. The issue will be repeated on December 3, 2017 (Sunday - 9:05 pm - 10:00 pm). In addition, the Plappermoehl is one of the last major live entertainment programs on the Mecklenburg and German radio in front of an audience, with the exception of the program " Greetings on board " from the Hamburg station.

Program profile

NDR 1 Radio MV initially played a music mix of oldies from the 1960s, 1970s and 1980s and hits, as well as folk music . Between 2008 and 2011, NDR 1 Radio MV modernized itself from a musical point of view. Schlager, folk music and oldies of the 1960s have been removed from the program.

Today the station mainly plays oldies and hits from the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. Current pop music is also occasionally interspersed.

on the last Saturday of the month: De Plappermoehl

The Plappermoehl is a successful Low German entertainment program on the radio. It is produced in front of an audience in locations and halls that change every month in the country. Local personalities who also speak Low German are invited. In the program there are two rounds of talks with the guests at the "Moehlendisch". One of the three presenters recites a self-made poem about the place and half of the show tells jokes from the “Mallbüdel”. The broadcast is accompanied by a live orchestra with singers in Low German. In December, the edition will be broadcast on December 24th, under the name “ De Wiehnachtsplappermoehl ”, in which the audience sings Low German Christmas carols with the hosts and guests on stage.

The artificial cat

This is a broadcasting slot in which cultural topics are produced in the form of a more elaborate radio production than with the culture journal. Most of the editions at this time are records; B., NDR literature café, theater broadcasts, instrumental music, singing or playing with instruments and lectures. No additional songs are recorded to fill the hour.

Holiday wave

This broadcasting route is not a continuation of the popular special program of the Rostock radio studio as it was in GDR times. This "program" is also broadcast in the summer months, but mostly only in July and August. The holiday wave also has another job, it used to be a moderated and well thought-out entertainment program, today it only serves to bridge the evening broadcasts of NDR 1 Radio MV, which have summer break during the period mentioned. The current holiday wave is an unmoderated music program consisting of the above-mentioned ratio of the music selection of the station. The holiday wave can be heard Monday through Friday from 8:15 pm to 10:00 pm with five-minute news at 9:00 pm; on weekends they can be from 19:05 o'clock 20:00 and after the evening news then listen 8:15 p.m. to 22:00, also with five-minute news at 21:00. This shows that the Landeswelle, with the exception of broadcasts such as the Tagesschau and today's reports , as well as the self-designed culture journal, does not provide any further program radio programs in the midsummer months and the program consists almost exclusively of format radio programs. In addition, the Topfgucker is not produced or broadcast at the time the holiday wave is broadcast.

Occasional highlights within the holiday wave are special programs that contain recordings from the NDR 1 Radio MV summer tour or programs on special events. In 2015, among the special broadcasts, in addition to the recordings of the summer tour, the opening performance of the play La Traviata in the Old Garden in Schwerin by the Mecklenburg State Theater was to be heard, as well as the June chatterbox , since the holiday wave began on June 8th and is only just beginning September stopped.

Moderators

The main moderators in the program are Marko Vogt , Susanne Grön and Christian Schewe ( the early risers ), Ralf Markert ( my favorite afternoon mix ), Marc Angerstein ( weekend and Angerstein ), Dörthe Graner, Axel Krummenauer ( Der Tag ), Kerstin Suhrbier, Isabel Eulenstein, David Lemke (weekend program), Thomas Lenz, (weekend program, Low German broadcasts), Nils Söhrens, Jan Didjurgeit (sports reporter).

Well-known former moderators were Isabel García , Leif Tennemann and Petra Wanitschka († September 1, 2015).
