NDR Info Spezial is a radio program produced by the North German Broadcasting Corporation that is broadcast via DAB + in the German federal states of Hamburg , Schleswig-Holstein , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania and Lower Saxony . The program can also be received throughout Europe via satellite ( Astra ) and worldwide as an Internet live stream. NDR Info Spezial is the special variant of the NDR Info program format .

NDR Info Spezial takes over the program from COSMO Monday to Friday from 2 to 8 p.m. , which is jointly designed by WDR , rbb and Radio Bremen (including the ARD foreigner program). A detailed sea weather report is broadcast three times a day: after the 10 p.m. and midnight news, and at 8:30 a.m. The sea weather report contains a detailed weather situation, prospects for the individual areas of the North Sea and the Baltic Sea , as well as station reports from weather stations. The maritime warning messages contain important nautical information for coastal and recreational shipping. Since October 24, 2012 NDR Info Special assumes daily from about 0:25 to 6:00, the ARD Info Eight . NDR Info Spezial also broadcasts many parliamentary debates and some sporting events live. On Sundays between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m., the oldest regularly broadcast program in the world, the Hamburg Harbor Concert, is broadcast. In addition, there is the Christmas program for seafarers Greetings on board . For the rest of the time, the program is taken over by NDR Info .

NDR Info Spezial was originally distributed via the medium wave transmitter of the North German Broadcasting Corporation . Since it was switched off on January 13, 2015, this program has only been broadcast digitally.
