Petra Wanitschka

Petra Wanitschka (born December 8, 1966 in Cologne ; † on the night of September 1, 2015 ) was a German radio presenter .

Life

Petra Wanitschka grew up in Cologne, where he made the Humboldt High School its Abitur . She then studied English, Spanish and German at the University of Cologne .

In 1985 she began to present at WDR 2 , between 1986 and 1990 she could be heard on SWF3 . From 1992 Wanitschka worked for three years as a presenter, speaker and reporter for Deutsche Welle . Between 1995 and 2000 she moderated the morning crew in the NDR youth wave N-Joy . From 2000 to 2003 she moderated at NDR 2 .

This was followed by a detour to television, Wanitschka worked as a reporter and director for the regional program Hamburg Journal of NDR television . Between 2003 and 2010, Wanitschka could be heard on the Schleswig-Holstein station NDR 1 Welle Nord , before switching to the sister station NDR 1 Radio MV in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania in 2010 . There she last moderated the morning show Wanitschka at work .

Petra Wanitschka died, according to the North German Broadcasting Corporation, on the night of September 1st, 2015 after a long, serious illness.
