Manfred Brümmer
Manfred Brümmer (born July 20, 1947 in Stavenhagen ) is a German author , actor and dramaturge .
Live and act
Brümmer attended primary school in Stavenhagen and from 1957 the Zettemin central school in the Malchin district . From 1959 to 1965 he was a pupil of the high school in the boarding school Seewalde in the Neustrelitz district . A forestry apprenticeship followed in Güstrow , after which Brümmer worked as a forester. In addition, he completed a correspondence course to become a master teacher and was active in vocational training after graduating. In addition, Brümmer completed a state-recognized artistic training as a cabaret artist in the GDR.
In 1975 he began to work as an actor at the Mecklenburg State Theater in Schwerin . Brümmer was subsequently director of the Fritz-Reuter-Bühne (1983–1988) and its dramaturge (1988–2012) at this theater.
As an author, Brümmer is the author of several Low German plays. In addition, he has submitted more than twenty Low German translations, including Die Mausefalle by Agatha Christie . In addition, Manfred Brümmer is the librettist of the musical Revolutschion in Pümpelhagen , to which Helmut Frommhold contributed the composition. Brümmer wrote numerous song texts and adaptations of international poetry. From 1997 to 2014 he was part of the moderation team for the Low German radio program Plappermoehl on NDR1 Radio MV. He also wrote over 400 mostly self- read texts for the program Plattdütsch an'n Sünndagg for this station . He has received several awards for his work as a writer and dramaturge. In 2012 and 2013 he also directed the plays Rose Bernd and Faust at the Niederdeutsche Bühne Flensburg.
