Tensai Okamura

Tensai Okamura ( Japanese 岡村 天 斎 , Okamura Tensai , civil: Yutaka Okamura ( 岡村 豊 , Okamura Yutaka ); born December 13, 1961 in Fukushima Prefecture ) is a Japanese director and animator .

Life

Tensai Okamura grew up in Yokohama and studied at Waseda University . After graduating from university, Tensai Okamura started working as an animator at Studio Madhouse . In 1995 he made his directorial debut in the film Memories . For the film, which consists of three short films, he shot the second episode called Stink Bomb .

He later left Madhouse and has since worked on various projects.
