Teone Church

Teone Church (also: Catholic Church of Teone ) with the Catholic Center of Teone is a Roman Catholic church in Vaiaku on the south coast of Fongafale in the Funafuti atoll in the island state of Tuvalu in the Pacific .

The church is in Teone . She is relatively modest. The concrete structure has a small bell tower over the entrance portal. The nave has a characteristic pointed gable. Despite its small size, the church is the main church in the region. It is subordinate to the Mission Sui Iuris of Funafuti ( Missio sui iuris Funafutina ), which belongs to the Congregation for the Evangelization of Peoples and is subordinate to the Archdiocese of Suva .

The responsible priest is currently (2019) Reynaldo B. Getalado from the Philippines . In the immediate vicinity is the Tuvalu Brethren Church (Alofamautasi Gospel Chapel).
