Reynaldo Getalado
Reynaldo B. Getalado MSP (born August 5, 1959 in Muntinlupa City , Philippines ) is a Filipino religious and superior of Funafuti .
Life
Reynaldo Getalado joined the Congregation of the Mission Society of the Philippines at. He studied science at Far Eastern University in Manila and earned a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy and theology from Divine Word Seminary (Tagaytay City, Philippines). He was ordained a priest on August 4, 1988. After his ordination he was a missionary in the Diocese of Daru-Kiunga in Papua New Guinea from 1988 to 1999 , from 2000 to 2003 a missionary in the diocese of Auckland in New Zealand, from 2003 to 2004 vicar in Mandaluyong City (Philippines) and since 2005 a missionary in theBougainville diocese in Papua New Guinea.
On February 24, 2014, Pope Francis appointed him Superior of Funafuti.
