Terrel Harris (born August 10, 1987 in Dallas , Texas ) is an American basketball player who is currently under contract with the Miami Heat in the NBA .
Career
college
As a college player, he played for Oklahoma State University - Stillwater and by the time he left college his college career averaged 9.8 points, 4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, 1.29 steals and 26.4 minutes per game.
Professional career
Since he was not elected by a team in the 2009 NBA draft, he moved to France to Strasbourg IG and shortly afterwards to the D-League with the Maine Red Claws . He then worked for a good year for the Rio Grande Valley Vipers and in the meantime played six games for EnBW Ludwigsburg in the basketball league . At the start of the 2011/12 NBA season on December 12, 2011, he was called to their training camp by the Miami Heat . Then on December 24th it was announced that he would stay with the Heat. With Miami he won the championship in 2012, but only played a few minutes in the playoffs.
