Terry Farrell (architect)
Terry Farrell (born May 12, 1938 in Sale (Greater Manchester) ) is a British architect .
Farrell grew up in Newcastle upon Tyne , where he also attended university and opened his first architectural office in 1965 after completing his studies. Farrell made a name for himself with structures that combine modern technology with postmodern irony. He was raised to the personal nobility and is Commander of the Order of the British Empire . In 2004 the Open University awarded him an honorary doctorate. Its most famous building is the headquarters of the British secret service MI6 in London.
