Terter ( Bulgarian Тертер ) is a village in the municipality of Kubrat in the Razgrad District / Oblast in northeastern Bulgaria . The village is located in the eastern part of the Danube Plain not far from the Danube .
The village bears the name of the medieval Terter dynasty . The Bulgarian-Romanian border ran near the village between 1913 and 1940 (→ Treaty of Craiova ).
