Tesfaye Tola

Tesfaye Tola (born October 19, 1974 in the province of Arsi ) is an Ethiopian long-distance runner and third place in the Olympic Games.

In 1999 he set his personal best of 2:06:57 h in fourth place in the Amsterdam Marathon . At the marathon of the Olympic Games 2000 in Sydney he took bronze behind his compatriot Gezahegne Abera and Erick Wainaina (KEN). At the 2001 World Athletics Championships in Edmonton, he finished fourth.

In 2004 he was fifth in the London Marathon , in 2005 third in the Amsterdam Marathon and in 2008 fifth in the Dubai Marathon , each with times under 2:10 hours.
