Tess Coady (born November 2, 2000 ) is an Australian snowboarder . She starts in the freestyle disciplines .

Career

Coady has been participating in the Ticket to Ride World Snowboard Tour and FIS competitions since 2013 . They took in August 2014 at the Australian Rookie Fest 2014 in Thredbo in Slopestyle their first victory. At the beginning of the 2016/17 season, she won the Slopestyle national junior championships in Thredbo and came third at Thredbo Slopestyle and second at Thredbo Big Air . She made her debut in the Snowboard World Cup in February 2017 in Mammoth , which she finished in sixth place in the slopestyle. At the season highlight of the 2017 Snowboard World Championships in Sierra Nevada , she came 21st in Big Air and 11th in Slopestyle. In March 2017 she was second in the slopestyle at the Spring Battle in Flachauwinkl . At the 2017 Snowboard Junior World Championships in Špindlerův Mlýn , she won gold medals in both slopestyle and big air. In January 2018, she achieved her first podium finish in the World Cup with third place in slopestyle in Snowmass . After finishing 11th in the Big Air in Modena at the beginning of the 2019/20 season, she took her first World Cup victory in slopestyle on the Alpe di Siusi and thus achieved eighth place in the slopestyle world cup.
