Tessa Bremmer (born July 5, 1983 in Amstelveen , born Tessa Cocx ) is a Dutch handball player who also works as a handball trainer.
Bremmer played in the Netherlands for Hellas Den Haag, with whom she took part in the EHF Champions League. Between 2006 and 2008, the 1.73 meter tall circle player was under contract with the German Bundesliga club HSG Blomberg-Lippe . In summer 2008 she moved to Borussia Dortmund . In the 2008/2009 season she was the most successful field scorer in her club and the best female runner in the league. In the 2010/11 season, Bremmer played at DJK / MJC Trier before moving to HSG Bad Wildungen the following year . In the second season she was voted the top scorer in the Bundesliga and finished 12th on the top scorers list after the main round with 112 goals in the Bundesliga season 2012/13. On June 7, 2013, she scored 18 goals in one game against Allensbach. For 2013, she was nominated Sportswoman of the Year by the WLZ / FZ newspaper. In addition to her work as a player, she was promoted to co-trainer at HSG Bad Wildungen Vipers in January 2014 . In the 2013/14 season she was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga with Bad Wildungen. In the same season she was the top scorer in the league with 228 goals and 9.1 goals / game. In May 2014, Bremmer announced her pregnancy. As a result, the Dutch woman is paused as an active player. In the 2014/2015 Bundesliga season she was head coach of the Bad Wildungen Vipers for the first time. Due to her triple workload as a Bundesliga coach, her A-license studies and her pregnancy, she was named "Person of the Week" by Sport Bild in issue 43 of the 2014 year and featured on a double page. She gave birth to a daughter in November 2014. In her first season as head coach (2014/15), in which she was still active as a player, she immediately achieved the best result in the club's history with 10th place in the 1st Bundesliga. Bremmer then worked as a trainer at the HSG. In March 2020 she made her comeback for the Vipers.
Bremmer made 36 appearances for the Netherlands, in which she scored 41 goals.
