Maurizio Teucci (* 20th February 1939 in Florence ) is an Italian diplomat in retirement .

Career

In 1967 he joined the foreign service. From 1972 to 1975 he was consul in Berlin , from 1975 to 1977 first class delegation secretary in Tokyo and from 1977 to 1980 delegation councilor in Seoul . From 1980 to 1982 he was employed in the Asia and Oceania department, which he headed from 1982 to 1985. From 1985 to 1988 he was Consul General in Osaka . From November 19, 1988 to September 1, 1992 he was ambassador to Hanoi . From 1992 to 1994 he was ambassador to Almaty .
