Britta Teuerle-Lange

Britta Teuerle-Lange (born January 3, 1969 in Berlin ) is a German CDU politician .

Professional career

Teuerle graduated from high school in 1988 and then began training as a forwarding agent, after which she worked in the training company as a dispatcher. In 1991 she went to BMW , where she entered the motorcycle division in Spandau and worked as an export clerk. At the same time, she passed the examination to become a traffic economist at the IHK Berlin , followed by an evening course with a successful degree as a traffic specialist. This was followed by activities as administrative and commercial manager as well as office manager at several law firms.

In 1986 Teuerle joined the Junge Union , where she initially acted as the executive district chairman in Charlottenburg . In 1987 she joined the CDU local association Westend , where she held the post of treasurer and deputy local chairwoman. She was also a member of the district executive in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district . From 1995 to 1999 she was a member of the District Assembly of Charlottenburg. In November 2005 she moved up to the Berlin House of Representatives , as Monika Grütters was elected to the Bundestag. Teuerle-Lange was a member of the committees for urban development and environmental protection as well as for administrative reform, communication and information technology, but left at the end of the legislative period in September 2006.
