Teymour Tehrani

Teymour Tehrani (born August 13, 1978 in Stuttgart ) is a German film producer and film director .

life and career

Teymour Tehrani was born to German-Iranian parents in Stuttgart. After graduating from the free Waldorf School at the Kräherwald in 1998, he gained his first experience working on film sets.

In the following years Teymour Tehrani took part in advanced training courses at the New York Film Academy in New York and the Interspherial Screenwriting School in Stuttgart. From 2002 to 2005 he studied Film & TV Studies and Business Management at the University of Derby, Great Britain. From 2002 to 2003 he was President of the "International Students Society", which became "Society of the Year" under his leadership. In 2003 and 2004 Teymour Tehrani received an award from the local Students Union (UDSU). Teymour Tehrani passed the entrance examination to Leeds Backett University / Northern Film School in Great Britain and studied there from 2005 to 2007 in the Department of Film and Moving Image Production Film Directing. His directorial work The Amulet and Kimberley & Co. ran at international film festivals. In 2006 Teymour Tehrani spent a semester abroad at FAMU in Prague and graduated with honors from the stage directing studies.

After completing his studies, Teymour Tehrani u. a. as a director for ITV Yorkshire and as an external producer for the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy . His scenic productions At the Other End , Schwarz, Lichtjahre and Fingerspiel were nationally and internationally successful and have received numerous awards. In 2010 Teymour Tehrani was accepted into the first year of the commercial film production course at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy, which he graduated with the best of his year in 2013.

In 2012 Teymour Tehrani received a scholarship from the Hollywood Workshop of the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy in collaboration with the VGF . From 2013 he worked for film production companies a. a. for the German rattling stick partner FoxDevil Film as Head of Digital Content. During this time, Teymour Tehrani was involved in TVC productions - such as the Olympic spot for P&G "Mom", for Lidl "Käse" and for Mr. Spex. Teymour Tehrani has worked several times as a freelance producer for Mercedes-Benz and Facebook (USA). In 2016 he founded his own film production company AT-Vertise GmbH in Berlin, which specializes in digital content productions.

Teymour Tehrani was a guest lecturer at film schools in the field of production and directing - a. a. at the Baden-Württemberg Film Academy - active. In 2014 he was part of the film jury at the Indian Film Festival Stuttgart .
