Théa Greboval

Théa Greboval (born April 5, 1997 in Dieppe ) is a French soccer player .

Club career

Théa Greboval has been playing football at the club since she was seven, in the early years in mixed youth teams at FC Offranville . At 14, she joined the larger neighboring club FC Dieppe , but returned to Offranville after a few months . In the summer of 2012, the then second division team FCF Hénin-Beaumont brought her to northern France, and five weeks before her 16th birthday she was substituted on for the first time in a league game in the women's team. At the same time she was appointed to the French B youth selection. In her second season at Hénin-Beaumont - whose women had returned to the first division - she had already established herself as a regular player and played all 22 point games, 21 times in the starting lineup. When the team was relegated again at the end of this season, they brought one of France's top clubs, Juvisy FCF . At Juvisy, too, she made a good 20 appearances in her first two years not only in their A-youth team, but also in the league eleven. When Juvisy's women merged with Paris FC ahead of the 2017/18 season , Greboval took this step.

Initially, Théa Greboval was used more in the defensive midfield . In Juvisy and in the U-19 national team left-footer playing on the other hand, full-back position .

In the national team

In the 2012/13 season Théa Greboval found two games in the French U-16 national team. From 2014, she then practically never missed a match in the U-18 / U-19 selection, for which she has appeared 25 times so far; In this circle, the defender scored a hit. With this team, she took part in the 2015 European Championships when France only lost to Spain in the semifinals after a penalty shoot-out - she had converted her penalty. The UEFA Technical Committee then elected Greboval to the tournament's team. A year later, she was again in the European Championship finals with the French and met her Spanish peers again in the final, who defeated France 2-1. She is now also the captain . At the U-20 World Cup in 2016 , she played five games and was runner-up.

At the Istria Cup in March 2017 , she was part of the French B squad. In the senior team the new coach allowed Corinne Diacre Gréboval their debut in the fall 2017th (As of September 15, 2017)
