Théo Malget (born March 2, 1961 in Wiltz ) is a former Luxembourg soccer player .

Player career

society

Malget played for his hometown club FC Wiltz 71 from 1981 to 1985 . He then spent two years at FC Avenir Beggen , with whom he won the Luxembourg championship in 1986 and the Coupe de Luxembourg in 1987 . After a year with the Rhineland-Palatinate upper division club SC Birkenfeld , he returned to FC Wiltz 71 in 1988, where he ended his active career in 1995.

National team

His first game for the Luxembourg national team played Malget on April 27, 1982 in the 0-1 defeat in the friendly against France . His last appearance was on October 27, 1993 in the World Cup qualifier against Hungary , which ended in a 0-1 defeat for the Luxembourgers. He made a total of 47 international matches in which he scored three goals.

Private

Theó Malget is the father of football player Kevin Malget . In January 2013, he was sentenced to five years in prison.
