The Lords of Thüle were a ministerial family who were wealthy between Delbrück and Salzkotten and whose seat was Haus Thüle in the village of Thüle .

history

  • In 1283 a Nikolaus de tule appears as the first known representative of the family as a witness.
  • 1324–1342 Konrad von Thüle is attested as a pastor in Delbrück .
  • In 1326 the brothers Gottschalk and Nikolaus von Thüle were enfeoffed with some serfs in Bentfeld .
  • In 1338 Gottschalk von Thüle traded for his brother's sons.
  • 1351 give John of Thüle and his wife Beatrix of St. John's Church in Salzkotten 3 feet.
  • 1355 The squire Gottschalk von Thüle and his wife Gisela von Krevet receive goods from Johannes von Krevet .
  • In 1368 the estate was divided between the brothers Johann and Klaus von Thüle and their cousin Konrad von Thüle .
  • 1374 a Johann von Thüle is mentioned as a chaplain in Delbrück.
  • In 1393 and 1410 a Johann von Thüle is mentioned.
  • In 1437 Johann and Peter von Thüle sell their goods in the Thüle parish , to which Scharmede and Ostthüle also belonged, to Bernd von Hörde zu Boke .
  • In 1508 it is mentioned that Johann and Klaus von Thüle had sold a farm in Ostthüle to the Abdinghof monastery in Paderborn , without taking into account that this farm was a Rietberg fief.

Nothing can be said about the further fate of the family.

coat of arms

The coat of arms shows three reeds , two of which are feathered and used as a crest ornament. Since the coat of arms is only covered by seals, the color is unknown.

Since Haus Thüle is later always lent together with the Richterhof zu Thüle and the mill on the Thulerbeke, it is assumed that these goods also belonged to the possession of the Lords von Thüle.
