Thai Nichi Institute of Technology
The Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology (Thai: สถาบัน เทคโนโลยี ไทย - ญี่ปุ่น , Japanese 泰 日 工業 大学 , Tai-Nichi kōgyō daigaku , English Thai-Nichi Institute of Technology , TNI) is a private industry-related institute in Bangkok , Thailand .
The Thai Nichi Institute was founded by Thai and Japanese (= nichi ) organizations. The first lectures began in June 2007. There are thirteen courses for the preliminary diploma ( Bachelor ) and five for diploma courses ( Master ).
Bachelor:
- Faculty of engineering ( vehicle construction , production engineering , technical informatics , industrial engineering / logistics , electrical engineering )
- Faculty of Computer Science (Computer Science, Media Informatics , Business Informatics )
- Faculty of Business Administration ( industrial management , international business management, Japanese-speaking business administration, accounting , Japanese human resources )
Master:
- MEng for engineering
- MSc in Computer Science
- MBA in industrial management
- MBA for management (Executive Enterprise Management)
- MBA in business administration
The biggest difference to all others offered in Thailand is the six-month internship in a Japanese company that the students have to complete. Language courses for English and Japanese complete the training.
The previous enrollment numbers:
- 2007: 300 students
- 2008: 900 students
Many students receive scholarships from various Thai and Japanese organizations, companies, or the Japanese Chamber of Commerce (JCC).
