Thann is a district of the municipality of Buch am Erlbach in the Lower Bavarian district of Landshut .

location

Thann is located about one kilometer southeast of Buch am Erlbach on the state road 2330 in the Isar-Inn hill country .

history

Tanna is mentioned repeatedly in the traditions of the Tegernsee Monastery , together with the neighboring, today Upper Bavarian Pfrombach . The local nobility of Thann has existed since the 11th century, but it disappears during the establishment of the Wartenberg rule . In the 1120s and 1130s, the news about the lords of Thann, Haunwang , Pfrombach, Heidenkam , Schleibing, pricesberg and Vilsheim is extremely sparse.

In 1752 the place consisted of eight properties, in 1832 Thann was called a hamlet with nine courtyards, a branch church of the Pfrombach parish and fifty residents.
