The Alpine is a rock band from Aalborg ( Denmark ).
Band history
The band emerged from the Aalborg school band Aroma . In 2002 a promotional album called World Record was produced independently . Several appearances followed, and a Danish radio station recorded some of her songs in its program.
The band gained greater fame beyond the borders of Denmark in 2005 when they were selected for the show MTV A CUT along with nine other European groups . The program was looking for a band that Anastacia could support as an opening act for a concert. The Alpine took second place. During the production of the show in London they got the opportunity to record their later first single Mondays look the same at Abbey Road Studios .
The five Danes toured Germany in April 2005 as well as in May / June 2006. In April 2006 they released their first album On Feel Trips with the single Trigger . The second album There's Only So Much You Can Do was released on May 23, 2008.
