The Azoic is an American electronic band led by Kristy Venrick and was founded in 1996 in Ohio .

history

After several CD releases in the USA, the compilation Forward + Conflict intended for the European market was released on the German label Infacted Recordings in 2004 and contained remixes by Combichrist , Massiv in Mensch and Assemblage 23 , among other things . In the same year Illuminate appeared ; there is also a remake of the 1980s hit Obsession - in a duet by Kristy Venrick with Frank M. Spinath .

The Azoic made appearances at the Summer Darkness Festival in Utrecht in 2005 and at the Blacksun Festival in New Haven in 2008 .

After Steve Laskarides left in 2006, the publishing activity was limited to remixes and an EP.
