The Billboard ( English for The billboard is) a hulking monolith of granite in the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It rises with a flank height of 300 m in the Ford Ranges immediately west of Mount Rea between the Arthur and Boyd glaciers .
It was discovered in November 1934 by a sled team led by the US geographer Paul Siple on the second Antarctic expedition (1933–1935) of the US polar explorer Richard Evelyn Byrd . It got its descriptive name based on its appearance.
