The Blob (English for the lumps is) a marked and almost completely snow-covered hill on the Siple Island off the coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd lands . It rises halfway between Thurston Glacier and Armor Inlet on the island's north coast.
The United States Geological Survey mapped it using aerial photographs taken by the United States Navy during Operation Highjump (1946–1947) in January 1947. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names gave the hill its descriptive name in 1967.
