The Boil (English for Die Beule ) is a snow-covered hill at over 2300 m in the East Antarctic Victoria Land . It rises with prominent rocky outcrops 6 km east of the Shepard cliff on the northeast side of the Reeves firn field .
The formation got its descriptive name from the southern group of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition , which it visited in December 1962.
