Bureau of Legends (original title: Le Bureau des légends , international marketing title: The Bureau ) is a French television series , the first season of which premiered on April 27, 2015 on the French television channel Canal + . The third season of the series has aired since May 2017. A German-language first broadcast is to take place on RTL Crime . There are a total of five seasons in the series. So far only 3 seasons have been translated into German, with only the first two being available for purchase.

The series is dedicated to current topics such as the rise of ISIS in the Middle East, counter-espionage, the fight against terror and the war in Syria. The main character is the secret agent Guillaume Debailly, who is returning to his homeland after six years of deployment from Syria. In the following seasons his experiences will be discussed further and the work at " DGSE " will be further explained.
