The Cocked Hat (English for Der Zweispitz ) is a 900 m high and cliff-like mountain in East Antarctic Victoria Land . In the Saint Johns Range it rises 5.5 km southwest of the Lizards Foot .
Thomas Griffith Taylor (1880-1963), Frank Debenham , Tryggve Gran and Robert Forde (1875-1959) discovered him while exploring the Wilson Piedmont Glacier during the Terra Nova Expedition (1910-1913) of the British polar explorer Robert Falcon Scott and gave the mountain its descriptive name.
