The Crazy Hambones are a German blues band that are fully committed to the blues of what they themselves call the "last 100 years".

history

The band was founded by Micha Maass and Peter Crow. C. Paul Orta joined later. In 2004 they recorded their first album Cool Step together , which was highly praised in the professional world (see awards). Paul Orta had to leave the band again in 2005 for health reasons. Henry Heggen got on for him .

The band is minimalist and is made up of Muddy Waters , Walter Horton , Little Walter and Dr. Ross influenced. The name Crazy Hambones means "crazy thigh tapping". The shoeshine kids used to play that to entertain their customers.

The Hambones about themselves: "Blues is like laughing and crying, close to the soul, neither can you imitate to be real, that's why it remains an adventure for us".
