reception
Stephanie Wunderl from the website cdstarts.de awarded 6.5 out of ten points for the album and particularly praised the transmission of Evanescences Bring Me to Life and Madonna's Frozen . The implementation of O Fortuna was described as "rather simple". It was feared that “some listeners will certainly lack the angularity or roughness in one or the other song”. Martin Schneider from the website hooked-on-music.de criticized the implementation of Hells Bells as “awkward”, but wrote: “Since, as usual, the highlights outshine individual, seemingly inevitable failures, the same applies to The Dark Side of the Chant : Thumbs up!".
