The devil put dinosaurs here is the fifth studio album of grunge - band Alice in Chains . It was released on May 28, 2013 on Capitol Records .

Emergence

The band did not use the songs left over from the previous album Black Gives Way to Blue , but wrote new song material. This time, however, the band recorded all the tracks they had, leaving no titles. The album was created from 2011 to 2013, it was produced again by Nick Raskulinecz , who also worked for the band on the previous album. The record was mixed by Randy Staub . The recordings took place in the Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles . Jerry Cantrell , who had to recover from shoulder surgery before recording, said he was very pleased with the album.
