The three-cushion world championship in 1966 was the 21st tournament in this discipline of carom billiards and took place from October 22 to 29, 1965 in Buenos Aires . It was the world championship for the 1965/66 season. So far, the only time that two three-cushion World Championships have taken place in one calendar year.
history
Raymond Ceulemans confidently secured the fourth three-cushion World Championship title in a row with 8 wins again. The level of the tournament wasn't very high. Only two Europeans took part in the tournament. Nevertheless, the event was very well attended. On the final day the hall had to be closed due to overcrowding.
