The three-cushion world championship in 1928 was the first tournament in this discipline of carom and took place from 6 to 9 May 1928 in Reims .

history

Before this tournament, only world championships in the Cadre-47/2-WM and Cadre-47/1-WM were held.

The superior winner was Edmond Soussa from Egypt , ahead of Carel Koopman from the Netherlands. The only German participant was Otto Unshelm , who took third place. Soussa won his second world championship within four weeks. In April he won the Free Game World Cup in Basel / CH .
