The three-cushion world championship in 1968 was the 23rd tournament in this discipline of carom billiards and took place from April 24th to 28th, 1968 in Düren . It was the world championship for the 1967/68 season. In Düren, a three-cushion World Cup took place in Germany for the third time.

history

Raymond Ceulemans secured the sixth world title in three cushion in a row. It was a world championship with no new records. Ceulemans won all of his games with ease. The Düren town hall was a worthy tournament venue and well attended. The last two days were completely sold out.

mode

The game was played in two preliminary round groups “everyone against everyone” with a score of 60 points. The groups consisted of 5 players each. The last two in the group were eliminated, but still played out ninth place.
