The three cushion world championship in 1971 was the 26th tournament in this discipline of carom billiards and took place from March 18 to 21, 1971 in Groningen . It was the fourth three-cushion World Cup in the Netherlands.
history
Raymond Ceulemans secured the ninth world title in a row. For the first time, the future world champion Rini van Bracht from the Netherlands took part in a three-cushion World Cup, but failed in the event of a tie with Ceulemans only because of the worse GD. Van Bracht was also able to inflict the only defeat on Ceulemans with 60:54 in 59 shots.
