The three-cushion world championship in 1930 was the third tournament in this discipline of carom and took place from May 8 to May 11, 1930 in Amsterdam .
history
After the final round, four players were tied with 5 wins and two losses each. According to the rules, playoffs were played in the "everyone against everyone" mode. Robijns, Soussa and Sengers each had two wins and one defeat. Zaman lost all three games. Now the better average decided the victory. Robijns scored a GD of 0.583, Soussa 0.558 and Sengers 0.498. So Henk Robijns was the new world champion. Emile Zaman set a new world record in the top series at the age of 10.
mode
The game was played in two preliminary round groups “everyone against everyone” with 50 points. Group A consisted of 6 players. Group B of 5 players. The defending champion Edmond Soussa was set for the final round. The last two in the group were eliminated.
