Nick Raskulinecz

Nick Raskulinecz (born around 1970 in Knoxville ) is an American music producer . His work has received a number of Grammy Awards. He lives in Nashville , Tennessee , where he also runs his Rock Falcon Studio.

Career

Raskulinecz comes from the Knoxville area . First he produced bands there with his $ 2,700 eight-track device. He also played in a thrash - funk band called Hypertribe, which soon changed its name to Movement and moved to Los Angeles . On the recommendation of Brian Bell from Weezer , he took a job in the local Sound City Studios, so he became a sound engineer . In 2001, shortly after leaving Sound City Studios, he was invited by Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters to produce their album One by One . He had previously produced the A320 from the Godzilla soundtrack for the band . Due to the success, the collaboration with the follow-up album In Your Honor was continued. As a result, Raskulinecz also mixed the live DVDs Everywhere but Home and Foo Fighters Live at Wembley Stadium and the album Skin and Bones for the band, which was followed by another live DVD, Live In Hyde Park .

In addition, he also worked with bands like We As Human , Evanescence , Marilyn Manson , Deftones , Stone Sour , Trivium , Duff McKagan , Mondo Generator , Danzig , The Exies , Ash , My Ruin , Velvet Revolver , Rush , Shadows Fall , Superdrag , Goatsnake , Fireball Ministry , Rye Coalition , Death Angel and Danko Jones . In 2007 he produced the album Snakes & Arrows for Rush and Shogun for Trivium . In 2009 he worked for Alice in Chains and produced her comeback Black Gives Way to Blue . In 2011 he worked on the self-titled album by Evanescence.

He also plays bass in a band called Epic Ditch, with whom he released his self-produced debut 36-Hour in February 2012 .
