The Nothing ( English for " nothingness ") is the 13th studio album of American nu-metal - band Korn . It was released on September 13, 2019 on the Roadrunner Records label.

In The Nothing the US acted music producer Nick Raskulinecz as a producer, who also directed the previous album The Serenity of Suffering produced.

Cover design

The album cover is in black and white and shows a doll made of cords hanging from the ceiling. At the top left of the picture are the black lettering Korn and The Nothing . The background is gray.

The Nothing entered the German album charts at number 6 on September 20, 2019 and stayed in the top 100 for six weeks.

On June 25, 2019, the song You'll Never Find Me was released as the first single . The second release, Cold , was released on August 2, before the song Can You Hear Me followed on September 6, 2019. To You'll Never Find Me and Can You Hear Me also have music videos rotated.

Olaf Schmidt from laut.de rated The Nothing with four out of a possible five points. He describes it as “a best-of album full of new songs,” which “sound familiar and at the same time fresh.” They contained musical elements from various previous songs by the band, paired with “catchy choruses and catchy riffs.” Try on some tracks Jonathan Davis vocally but also "completely new things".
