The Draft is an American post-hardcore band that emerged from Hot Water Music in 2006 .
history
On May 14, 2006, Hot Water Music, the band of Chris Wollard, Jason Black and George Rebelo, announced a longer creative break. While the previous singer Chuck Ragan started a solo career, the other three founded Rockhill The Draft together with Todd "Wonderboy". Musically they are not far from Hot Water Music. On September 8, 2006, their first album In a Million Pieces was released on Epitaph Records . It reached 42nd place in the 2006 year-end charts from Visions magazine . On March 13, 2007, a self-titled EP was released for download. In mid-October 2007, the 7 ″ We'll Never Know / Hard to Be Around It, recorded in summer 2005, was released on No Idea Records .
