The Eyeliners are an American all-girl pop-punk band from Albuquerque , New Mexico .

history

The band was founded in 1995 by the three sisters Laura, Lisa and Gel under the name Psychodrama, which they changed to The Eyeliners in 1996 after only one single was released ("Vivid").

Since 2002 the band has participated in the Warped Tour several times . The Eyeliners toured as support with No Use for a Name and Social Distortion . There were joint appearances with Sugar Ray , the Violent Femmes , Andrew WK and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts.

Since 2002 Laura has been concentrating exclusively on singing as the front woman at live concerts. Since then, a number of musicians such as Hunter Burgan from AFI and Branden Steineckert from The Used have made guest appearances on drums .

In 2005, The Eyeliners released their last album No Apologies on Joan Jett's Blackheart Records label.
