The Flying Windmill (abbreviated fwm , also tfw ) was a pop-punk band from Dresden . The Flying Windmill was founded in 2001 and played over 200 concerts until their final concert in 2009 in the Groovestation Dresden. These are mainly distributed in German-speaking countries, but fwm also played numerous shows in other European countries. A special feature were exclusive appearances such as in an occupied swimming pool, in the correctional facilities of Görlitz , Zeithain and Leipzig or on ships (MS President and MS Stubnitz ).
history
At the end of 2002, The Flying Windmill began rehearsing and touring with a new line-up after the surprising departure of drummer Matuschek. The first publications followed in 2002 and sold out quickly. 2006 saw the last change in the line-up, in which the band played together until their final concert in 2009.
