Career

The Folk Implosion had their greatest success in 1995 with the single Natural One , which made it to number 29 on the American Billboard Hot 100 . The song comes from the soundtrack of the film Kids , on which a total of seven songs by the band can be found, none of which appear in the film itself.

Musically, The Folk Implosion moves between indie rock and folk , but also keeps experimenting with electronic elements. After Davis left the band in 2000, Russell Pollard and Imaad Wasif joined the band Alaska! to. The group has not been active since 2004.
