The Four Bags
The Four Bags is an American jazz band that was formed in New York in 1999.
The quartet The Four Bags , consisting of Brian Drye ( trombone ), Jacob Garchik ( accordion ), Sean Moran ( guitar ) and Mike McGinnis ( woodwind instruments ), combines modern jazz and popular music with the playing style of classical chamber music . Her debut album included Film Noir - vignettes ( K-Lounge ), Beach Boys covers ( Good Vibrations and Here Today ) and sound experiments ( Distance ) .; In addition, in her music without drums, there are Eastern European influences and echoes of Willem Breuker's music. The quartet performed at various festivals, such as the Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival, a Burt Bacharach tribute concert at Lincoln Center , and in New York clubs such as Cornelia Street Cafe , Barbès and The Bowery Poetry Club. They also accompanied the singers Jackie Cain , David Garland and Judith Berkson . In 2002 the band went on a tour of Japan.
