The Further Adventures of Uncle Sam: Part Two is an American animated short film directed by Dale Case and Robert Mitchell from 1970.

action

Uncle Sam lives with the bald eagle in the southwestern United States and runs a small gas station. While the eagle is watering the plants, a car that allegedly has an engine failure stops at the gas station. Uncle Sam checks the engine bay but is knocked down and abducted by the occupants of the car, capitalism embodied. The eagle sets out to save Uncle Sam. This is held captive in the American neon advertising juggernaut in a capitalism center disguised as a giant ice cream cone. The accomplices of the beings with dollar signs on their faces also include robots and a being with a bomb for a head. The terrorists decide to steal the Statue of Liberty next .

When they are gone, Uncle Sam is saved by the bald eagle. They flee together through the city and finally follow the criminals in an advertising balloon to an arena. Here the creature with the bomb head holds the Statue of Liberty captive and animates the crowd to shout out for joy. The eagle separates the bomb head from the body of the being, which now walks disoriented through the arena. Uncle Sam frees the Statue of Liberty as the audience exits the arena. Shortly thereafter, there is an explosion and Uncle Sam and the statue are already mourning the eagle, which however survived. The arena becomes an American desert with cacti again. All three move away together.
