Dale case
Dale Case (born May 15, 1938 in Los Angeles ) is an American animator and film director .
Life
Case was born to the animator Brad Case (1912-2006) in Los Angeles. He learned the animation trade from his father, who among other things worked as a draftsman at Walt Disney . Case began working in television in the 1960s and was involved in the series King Leonardo and His Short Subjects . From 1965 to 1966, Case animated the Beatles short films Long Tall Sally , I Don't Want to Spoil The Party , Do You Want to Know a Secret , Misery and I'll Follow The Sun from the animated series The Beatles at CanaWest Studios in Vancouver . He then worked at DePatie-Freleng Enterprises and animated, among other things, films from the Pink Panther series. With Robert Mitchell , he produced the animated short film The Further Adventures of Uncle Sam: Part Two , which both also directed. They received an Oscar nomination for the film in the category of Best Animated Short in 1971 . In addition to numerous cartoon series, Case was also involved in sequels or spin-offs of successful Disney cartoons as an animator, including Jafar's Return (1994), Aladdin and the Thief King (1996), Pocahontas 2 - The Journey into a New World (1998) and Belle's magical world (1998), which Case also directed.
