action
Sisters Megan and Abby Graves get lost on a pleasure tour in the Arizona desert. In a restaurant, they are offered a tour of a disused mine. In the Skull City Mine , they seem to be the only visitors. While visiting the derelict houses of the mine area, they witness a brutal murder. The sisters themselves are then followed by the hammer killer. Megan manages to kill him with a piece of metal. The sisters and another survivor stop a car to escape. The driver of the car distrusts the matter and forces everyone to go back to the crime scene. Here he recognizes the hammer murderer's corpse as his brother. Now he himself begins to pursue the two women with a sickle. Abby, who was tied up by him alone, manages to overpower him, her sister who rushed up does the rest.
In the desperate search for a doctor, the sisters drive back to the village. Here they are tied up by the residents and taken to a Christian sect mass. They are rescued by the young woman Becka, who informs them that a demon rages in this area, which feeds on the souls of the victims and the villagers serve them. In the delusion of the arrival of their “savior”, the villagers kill each other. The two women manage to escape and at the end can also pierce the Reverend with a stake. When the women have disappeared, the Reverend stands up and promises to “come back”.
