The Juliana Theory is an American emo / rock band from Greensburg , Pennsylvania . The band has released four albums so far, as well as a live album and various split CDs with other artists. The music is consistently very melodic and energetic, with the songs having a medium tempo. The band's most famous song is probably This Is a Lovesong ... For the Loveless , for which there is also a video.
history
During the band's active years from 1997 to 2006, the band toured the United States, Canada , Europe and Australia more than a dozen times, according to their own account .
The band announced the split on February 9, 2006 on their website . Details are not known except that the separation was carried out on good terms. The band's last concert took place on January 28, 2006 in the Cologne underground as part of their joint European tour with Haste the Day to promote their last album .
However, the band members continue to make music, if not together. Guitarist Josh Fiedler started a new band called Vesta.
